i take good care of him. idk what it is...help....?!My rabbit has a black nail...whats it from?
It's just the coloring/[pigments...just like the different colors of fur. Some nails are clear, some are black. Don't worry - it's perfectly normal! My rabbit has a black nail...whats it from?
It is normal for an oddly colored nail to pop up in a row of white ones, or vice versa.
Even black nails can appear clear or white when the rabbit is a baby, and the color will develop over time. This is genetic, and not your fault- it's just like coat color!
If its nail was not like that before it most likely broke its nail off under the skin.It will grow back as normel unless it has pulled its nail compeatly out. It can happen to any rabbit and it does not mean you are a bad pet owner.
Its normal. Different colored rabbits either white toenails or black toenails. Some, especially brokens, can have different colored toenails, some might be white some might be black.
are the rest of the nails white? if they are its just a Disqualitfication from competition of a rabbit show.(if your is a pet, no worries) other than that nails can be all different colors
It's OK some rabbits can have 2 nail pigmentation specially if parents are 2 different colors or breed
