Is it okay if i mix 2 different color nail polishes?

B/C i wanna mix my dark navy blue with a little bit of white to make a lighter color navy blue. Will it work? and Is it okay to do that? wont be harmful right??????Is it okay if i mix 2 different color nail polishes?

It might work. Take a toothpick and dip it in one color. Then take another pick and dip it in the other color. Mix the two colors on a sheet of paper. Then use a separate brush to apply the new color. Like if you have a color you don't use, wash the brush and use it so that you won't get your other two colors mixed up.
wrong! believe me honey been there done that! Mixed the same colors and you don't even want to know what happened, but oh well i'll tell you just for the warning. The second I poured that navy blue into the white, it exploded all up in my face! I looked like great aunt susan after she ate some triple bluberry pie!!!

nahh, it's not dangerous i've done it before. but you might get like a metallic blue or something.
