Would it heal faster if i let the blood out from under my nail?

i closed the car door on my thumb a few days ago. i watched it bruise and swell instanteously. it throbbed for days. i have dead blood under my nail, and i wonder if the blood should be let out so that it may heal faster? i don't know, do you? btw, a month and half ago i bruised my toe playing soccer. i let the blood out and it was excruciating, but the throbbing came down fast because the blood was let out.Would it heal faster if i let the blood out from under my nail?
This should only be done by a physician because of the risk of infection. They can give you a shot to deaden the pain and then antibiotics to prevent infection and then drill a hole in the nail to release the blood. For relief afterwards, I found soaking the hand in water to be VERY helpful. The only time it didn't hurt was when it was in water - so I went swimming every day the summer I got my finger slammed in a car door. The nail eventually came off and grew back.Would it heal faster if i let the blood out from under my nail?
Use a red hot paperclip.
You can relieve the pain by letting the pressure off of the nail and putting a hole in the nail. Do it by using a paper clip and heating it up with a match. Just touch the hot paper clip to the nail and you will get immediate relief, and the blood will ooze out and heal faster. After you do the hole, you need to put antibiotic ointment on it over night.
