I got an ingrown nail and it hurts like hell!!!?

its on my right big toe and i think its infected!!! what should i do???I got an ingrown nail and it hurts like hell!!!?
Well I had the same thing and what you need to do is go to a foot doctor. He will then the the nail where it is digging into your flesh. He will then put some liquid on it to stop the nail from growing again. It won't look bad. When he cuts the nail he will cut straight down. But you do need to go to a foot doctor otherwise it will keep digging into your toe.I got an ingrown nail and it hurts like hell!!!?
definitely go to the podiatrist. they have a special tool to dislodge the nail and will show you the proper way to cut your toenails. I have the same problem, but mine is not infected, i use a thin nail device everyday and stick under the nail part to dislodge from skin. can be painful though
you need to take meds as perscribed. not taking meds as perscribed can cause a problem. infection might become immune to antibiotice and you might need something stronger. you might need to go into the hospital and get IV antibiotics.
you NEED to go to a doctor! and fast!


if you don't go fast sooner or later they have to might cut your whole toe off (one of friends had it before they had to get surgery luckyly they didn't have to cut anything off)

Soak your foot in warm water and Epsom salt. It will soften the toe nail, the skin around it and draw out any puss or infection.
See a podiatrist they will solve it.Other wise you might have to cut it out your self.The doctor should of done this for you anyway.Take your medication also or the infection can get so bad that you will be hospitalised.
