Is it still bleeding? Apply direct pressure for a few minutes or longer if it still bleeds, then put a bandaid on it. Don't try to open it back up to see if it's still bleeding.

The base of all nail polish removers is alcohol, so as long as you put something on there to stop the infection there should be nothing wrong.
But it might burn or sting cause you got the alcohol in the cut.
Stings but no danger at all. Keep the cut clean and use Neosporine or other antibacterial.
