I used to have an ingrown toe nail, i cut it off but the infection is still there?

today i applyed some pressure to the wound and some of the infection came out, this ooze, what can i do with my other toe the infection is worse.I used to have an ingrown toe nail, i cut it off but the infection is still there?
I did the same thing and tryed to do everything to keep from going to the doctor. I soaked my toes in vinager and peroxide together in warm water. Then put neosporin over when using a bandaid. I soaked in Epsom Salt and everything. But I waited too late and it got so painful and infected. I ended up going to a foot doctor and had to get half my toe nail cut off and some of my nailbed taken out. MY advise... don't wait.... go to the doctor. Infections can get into your bloodstream or go deep into the bone if not caught before hand. The doctor said I almost waited too late. The infection (redness and puffiness) was starting to go up my toe and foot.I used to have an ingrown toe nail, i cut it off but the infection is still there?
Soak your feet in some olive oil

Get some aloe vera plant and wrap the toe with.
You really need to go see the doctor. You are gonna need an Antibiotic to get rid of the infection and you certainly do not want it to get worse.
Get to a doctor. if the infection gets into your circulatory system it will kill you.
go see a doc.
go see a dr. you might need antibiodics. also,in rare cases there still may be some nail imbedded in the toe
you need to soak your foot in a tub of peroxide and then go see a doctor.

That is not something to be taken lightly.
Try rubbing hydrogen peroxide on it [or dipping your toe in it], this should clean it out and help kill some of the infection. Then try wrapping a warm cloth around it to help it more so. But if you can squeeze out the pus, that will actually help it.

Then at night put neosporin on it. If the infection gets worse, you need to see a doctor who will surgically remove it- the procedure isn't painful, but they cut the nail out and the infection out. Also, the doctor may give you an antibiotic to help the infection if its real bad.

But good luck.
It can be hard to get the deep part of the nail out as it tends to curve inward at the sides, so you might not have removed all that needs removal. If it continues to worsen, you might need to see a doctor. Soaking in betadine or chlorhexidine (a few times a day for a few minutes) might be helpful. If this doesn't clear the problem, then off to the doctor you should go.
Well it just depends. Have you attempted to drain it and apply over the counter antibiotic ointment? How bad is the infection? If the toe is oozing and there is swelling and redness I would go see a doctor. With some infections OTC creams don't help. I would really consult your doctor.
like ppl before have said GO TO A DOCTOR! you need to see a pediatrist (foot doctor) get a prescription for anti inflamitory or anti bactirial meds and dont touch it. its like a zit you want to pop it and play with the ooze but that makes it even more soar and red and puffy just leave it alone and go to a doctor's office and get an appointment at the front desk for the soonest possible time. you dont want to have to get it amputated now do you?
Obviously you are not in a position to seek medical assistance. Try foot soaks in Clorox (or comparable bleach product) and tolerable hot soapy water several times a day. This is almost exactly like a professional soak treatment used by MD's for the same. If this doesn't help you might need antibiotics but don't wait too long. Give it about 2-3 days and see what happens. Use about 1/4 cup bleach to a gallon of water and a squirt of dish liquid will work for soap. If you were in a hospital and a soak was ordered it would be chloropactin (powdered bleach) and castile soap (baby shampoo). Don't forget to keep your feet clean and dry after, CLEAN socks!!
It will go away in about three days. You can soak it it alcohol, which may help. If it doesn't, go to the doctor.
You definite should go see your doc.
Go see a doctor already. You shouldn't be fooling around your infected toes.
