it hurts him if you touch it but he can walk and run just fine what can I do I cant afford a vet? Will his nail grow back?My cat got in a fight and now on his right foot his nail got ripped out or broken pretty bad it hurts him ?
The nail bed might be too damaged for the nail to grow back. This cat needs to go to the vet. He could get an infection in the injured area. If you can't afford a vet visit, you can't afford to own a pet. Please be a responsible pet owner and take your cat to the vet. You also might want to make your cat an ';indoor cat'; from now on to avoid fights and exposure to feline diseases from feral cats and other outdoor cats.
