My Quad has a Flat Tire from a Nail, what is the cheapest way to fix it so it doesnt loose air again? ? ? ? ?

I had a small nail in my tire, and I am wondering if I can just use fix-a-flat or should I take it to a tire shop and have it patched? My Quad has a Flat Tire from a Nail, what is the cheapest way to fix it so it doesnt loose air again? ? ? ? ?
call a local reputable tire shop. alot of places will fix it for free if it can be done safely. if they charge its usually only a few bucks. most do it for free to try and bring you back as a customer. My Quad has a Flat Tire from a Nail, what is the cheapest way to fix it so it doesnt loose air again? ? ? ? ?
I am guessing that your tire is ';tubeless.'; Get a tire tube and put it inside your tire. Stores will sell tire tubes for lawn mowers. Many lawn movers do not have the sir pressure in tires necessary to keep a ';bead'; with the rim. Find a tire size that is slightly larger than your quad's tire.

Good luck
You can buy the tire plug kit from wallmart for under $5..... also try that green slime stuff, I put it in both back tires on my ATV.... I put new front tires on it a couple months ago.
Get the green slime from an auto parts or hardware store. It isn't a car tire, so don't bother trying to plug or patch it. Pull out the nail, put in some slime, and fill with air.
that depends on where the nail was. if it was in the middle of the tire where the tread is it could be ok to get fixed by a tire shop. if however the puncture was in the side of the tire you should buy a new tire .
Take it to your local Tire Shop and have the tire ';patched';, NOT plugged. This is the most reliable form of fixing a flat tire, especially from the nail. NEVER use fix-a-flat, as it is a moisture and will ruin, even rust, the inside of the rim, which will eventually question the structural integrity of the rim.
Patch it. Can't you take off the tire yourself (like a bike tire)? You want air in there as it is adjustable(hard or softer).
their is a spray can called flat tire and you spray it into the air fitting that you put air into and it seals the hole in the tire provideing the hole is'nt too big.
Run down to auto parts store and buy a tire repair kit. This happens to me all the time with my quad. Keep the repair kit around. It's handy!!
