It would help for answers from the people who has had their nails done before and know how they work!I heard that when you get your nails done it damages your natural nails. Is that true?
It is true when most people do get tips it does damage your natrual nail. Especialy when you get water under them it does turn green-ish but all have to do is soak it and file it.I heard that when you get your nails done it damages your natural nails. Is that true?
it will if you keep them on very long.
Yes. When you get the fake nails on them. But, your nails grow fast..
One time I got fake nails, and they wouldn't break off so I had to just let the grow until the fake ones fell off!
The damage caused to the natural nail all depends on the quality of work that the nail tech does. If he/she uses an electric file to file your natural nail bed, then yes, it will damage your nails.
Remember, you get what you pay for. If you go to a budget salon you will get budget quality nails and damage!
If the therapist/nail tech does your nails properly it shouldn't damage them! that's why it's important to find somewhere that does them well and spends time on them.
Not one who rushes to get you out the door. Alot of places which have really cheap prices often don't do a great job.
it helps them grow but it makes them really thin so after you take them off you need to put some nail strengthner on them
yep i got mine done not to long ago with acrylics and french tips, they looked BEAUTIFUL on and then they started growin out on bottom but i left them for a lil longer *about 3 week in all* and then one chipped and i had to pull them off and it hurt like a MF!! but yeah i still got a bit of fake nail on my thumb and it will not come off for nothing! its been about a month since i took them off adn they still break out of no where and wont grow, although they looked gorgeous i would never do it agian
when i got my tips after i took them off my nails were really flimsy and gross. but if you drink a lot of milk and stuff they shouldnt be that flimsy. i only drink wateer and my nails are always really thin. When you get your nails done, they look goood while you have them but when theyre off, not so hott. my mom wouldnt let me get acrylics for the longest time because YES they do ruin your nails. and the glue is a pain to get off.
It depends on the ability of the person who puts them on and how you have them taken off.
I had my nailbed damaged the only time I ever had a set of acrylics put on. It was about 5 years ago and the nail still has a strange streak in it.
Make sure you use someone reputable, not just the cheapest place, and you should be just fine.
