Has anyone tried that pedicure nail groomer on tv is it worth it?

I always laugh when I see that commercial. The cat in it sits so still! We don't have much of an issue using regular trimmers on our cat because she has clear nails, but it is a two-person job -- one holds while the other trims. She whines a little, but stays pretty still. I can't imagine trying to use something that makes noise, though. I'm sure she would completely freak out!Has anyone tried that pedicure nail groomer on tv is it worth it?
If is the one heavily advertised on TV for $19.95, it is a gimmick. Sure it might work, but if you have already learned to express their claws, there are clippers that are much cheaper and will do the job just as well. My cats would never sit still for the sound of anything whirring while I tried to express their nails.

If one snips off only the sharp tip, there will be no problems. the quick is actually darker on the claw, and easily seen and avoided.

Seems like they are worrying about a problem that rarely exists if one looks before clipping. But, using a nail clipper for people can cause problems, so one needs to use a clipper designed for cats, and those are cheap.Has anyone tried that pedicure nail groomer on tv is it worth it?
NO NEED FOR THEM I think the sound would scare her...

I trained my kitty over a matter of weeks to accept the nail trimmer, I would touch it to her paw a few times a day until I trimmed one, then next day one, its a pain in the neck but I only trimmed the tiny tip that is sharp I am so scared to take off any more, after a while she did tolerate it well. I used to have my pet sitter come over and do it for me, she is a vet tech and she only charged me ten bucks to come to my house and do it.. GOOD LUCK
A large straight edged toenail clipper works best. Cost $2. Or waste $18 more plus shipping on a gimmick.
My dogs hate it and are afraid of it. I have tried everything !!...if your animal doesn't care for a nail trim, I wouldn't buy it.
YES!! it is definately worth it!! my dogs dont wimper or whine or pull away from me when i use it
